Doctor fish is the name given to two species of fish: Garra rufa and Cyprinion macrostomus. Garra rufa is called the reddish log sucker. They live and breed in the outdoor pools of some Turkish spas, where they feed on the skin of patients with psoriasis.

The fish are like combfishes in that they only consume the affected and dead areas of the skin, leaving the healthy skin to grow, with the outdoor location of the treatment bringing beneficial effects. The spas are not meant as a treatment option, only as a temporary cure for symptoms, and patients usually revisit the spas every few months. Some patients have experienced complete cure of psoriasis after repeated treatments.

Garra rufa occurs in the river basins of the Northern and Central Middle East, mainly in Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran. It is legally protected from commercial exploitation in Turkey due to concerns of overharvesting for export. Garra rufa can be kept in an aquarium at home; while not strictly a "beginner's fish", it is quite hardy. For treatment of skin diseases, aquarium specimens are not well suited as the skin-feeding behavior fully manifests only under conditions where the food supply is somewhat scarce and unpredictable.

In 2006, doctor fish spa resorts opened in Hakone, Japan, and in Umag, Croatia, where the fish are used to clean the bathers at the spa. There are also spas in resorts in China, such as Hainan, The Netherlands, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. In 2008, the first widely known doctor fish pedicure service was opened in the United States by John Ho in Alexandria, Virginia and later in Woodbridge, Virginia, and has trademarked the treatment name of 'Dr. Fish'.

CHILLI Bahrain...

Last two nites, jolly katak at CHILLI..suamiku's feberet eating place. Lebih kurang sama jer kat mana2 CHILLI nih, either Malaysia, Dubai, or here in Bahrain. But akak paling tak soka rega nye..for me, mencekik gak..sib baik da food two thumbs up!!..Sedapppp...and one more thing why I like Bahrain's CHILLI is org tak ramai..well, I really hate crowds..so, here bole makan dgn tenang kat sini...furthermore, Pinoy yg layan kita org pun orait and very friendly gitew....all those things really counts when choosing a place to eat..for me la...by then, I can really enjoy my food, sepuas2nye....

Guan Eng: Leave EPF money alone. Cut taxes, pay oil bonus instead

PETALING JAYA, Oct 25 - The DAP is urging the government to put together a RM48 billion stimulus package instead of using RM5 billion from the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to address the economic situation.

In a statement released from its headquarters, it further condemned the government for only proposing RM364 million in income tax cuts in its 2009 Budget.

"Why did the government only give RM364.2 million in tax cuts to 10 million workers or a mere RM36 each when it is willing to put workers' funds at risk by using RM5 billion from EPF to bail out selected companies?" secretary-general Lim Guan Eng asked.

According to him, the drop in the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) to 859 points, its lowest close in four years, is a clear indication of the failure of Barisan Nasional's move to inject RM5 billion into Valuecap Sdn Bhd, a company set up by the government to invest in undervalued companies.

"What is RM5 billion to buy shares in a few counters compared to the Bursa Malaysia's capitalisation of around RM700 billion?" the Penang Chief Minister remarked.
"Risking RM5 billion to buy shares in companies belonging to BN cronies only helps the few at the expense of money belonging to all Malaysians."

Kat sini tho kedai tu suma dlm satu area je, but the prices can be varies differently. Ala....potong ramut org laki ni kan lebih kurang sama je, kekdahnye....bukannye payah benor..sikit je yg nak dibuang....tak berbaloi la nak perabih duit teruk2, unless kalau ler, kalau ramut tu macam sarang tebuan Alleycat..harus gitew......


So, kita org pusing2 and jumpa satu kedai yg murah sikit. Tgk uncle tua India and another mid-aged Indian chap, hati sedap sikit. And when asked ''How much?"...He said, "1 BD or 10 henggit je". So, we sticked to that one and below was the cutting process...Suamiku puas hati.

Memula saspen gak nak shoot gamo ni, takut abe Khan ni tak soka..aleh2 dia seronok mukanye di snapped..so akak pun lupa daratan ler...tangkap satu tunjuk kat dia..suka diaaaaa....

Cehhhhh...penuh aksi lagak ngeri Mr. Khan tuh....suamiku yg sedang menggontrol kemachoan nye...comei kan hidung jambu air...mana leh lawan hidung org sebelah tu weh!!ahak..ahak..The next assignment is to kidnap the 2 boys in the house to this shop.. Payah dek non oi, bebudak ni rasa glamer rambut tutup lubang tinger...Kalau nenek tau, sure kena seret gi kedai gunting dah....

Naim's feberet...

Yummy...sedap weh...I craved for a pizza last two nite. So, we did go to Pizza Hut. Belasah pizza , but Mat naim awai2 lagi tingin ice cream . " ma, boleh tak kalau adik nak ice-cream je..adik tak mo Pizza." So this was what we oredered for him.. cantikkan. Brownies as the ice-cream base. Sedap but quite sweet for my old taste la..

Demi masa....

Being together, looking at them growing each day make me realise then, how time flies so fast...the big bro, Mohd is 13 this year...while Naim is already 8. Tho they always cause my head spin and my voice scream, it makes me sad to think that I have just only few years left to spend my precious time together with them. By 18, abg Mohd, for sure will be somewhere else, exploring his youth life, either furthering his studies or venturing into job world.. So, basically I have just about 5 more years to be with him. While, Naim will become a teenager by that time. Things will be totally different by the time they grow matured. How, I wish , I could turn back time..........how, I really wish.......
