Zayt Zaytoon..

I am not an Arab based food lover. My tekak sometimes just cant tolerate with their kind of food. Tried few restaurants before. Just wanted to experience, and as a result I rarely go back to the place. But this time it is so damn different. Once tried and it is not the end. The truth is till today, at this moment I am droolling for more. Sodapppppp..

My newly found food sanctuary!.. A very nearby restaurant to my apt. Called Zayt Zaytoon, a Lebanese Restaurant. Zayt Zaytoon means olive oil. Like the names, all the breads have olive oil as the main ingredient. No wonder it tastes so gooooooooood....

Love the ambience of the place too....very relaxing..the main problem is just communication, the waiter, I guess from Lebanese with a very little English... so da very uhh ahhh uhhh ahhh gitew..

Looks like pizza, but it's not. It is the combination of delicious cheese and olive oil. Called Manakish. The based which is called Zataar is a pita bread brushed with olive oil and Lebanese spices..

This is Saaj...ground beef on top..not bad...but I love the Manakish better..

Relishing da food..yummy yummy...mummy has big tummy!!
